Step 2
Design and planning
Once you’re ready, we enter the design phase, one of the most intimate and inspiring parts of the process. Here, imagination leads the way. Together, we explore your style, needs, and aspirations to create a Land Rover that reflects you in every detail. If you can dream it, we can bring it to life.
From finishes to features, nothing is off limits. We stay closely connected, refining as inspiration evolves. Many clients cherish this stage as much as the final vehicle. You’ll receive a detailed visual and clear cost breakdown, bringing your vision to life step by step until it feels not only possible, but inevitable
Step 3
Donor
A vehicle with a past, full of character, memories, and miles, ready to begin a new chapter. You can choose a donor from our carefully selected fleet, or we can work with a Land Rover that is already part of your story, one that has lived in your family or carried you on countless adventures.
Wherever it comes from, our approach ensures that this beloved icon is reimagined with care, ready to be driven and cherished for generations to come.
Step 4
Disassemble
We start by carefully dismantling the donor vehicle, cataloging every part with precision. Each component is evaluated for restoration, machining, or replacement to maintain authenticity while improving durability. Like passing down a legacy, we preserve as many original parts as possible, keeping the Land Rover’s soul alive.
This process unfolds in our dedicated workshop, where your vehicle’s story resurfaces through hidden details.
Every discovery is documented and shared with you through our app, keeping you connected throughout the entire journey.
Step 5
New parts and Surface treatment
We believe every part of the original vehicle carries a story, which is why we strive to preserve and restore as many components as possible. Every single piece is treated with care and intention, undergoing a series of surface treatments such as sanding, sandblasting, protective zinc coating, galvanization, and painting to ensure it stands the test of time and the elements.
Where restoration alone is not enough, we carefully select high-quality new parts to breathe fresh life into the car, blending the soul of the past with the promise of many journeys still to come.
Step 6
Engine, Gearbox and axels
Now we turn to the heart of your Land Rover, the place where spirit meets motion. Whether it is a Defender or a Series, a thunderous V8 or a vibrant 4-cylinder, manual or automatic, this is where new life begins to stir.
Every part, bolt, seal, and bearing is treated with intention. Each component is restored or replaced with the finest materials available, blending past and present into something greater. The result is a vehicle that runs stronger, smoother, and more confidently than ever before.
Step 7
Brakes and suspension
Next, we turn to control and comfort, beginning with the braking system. New brake lines are carefully run front to back, followed by the installation of high-performance components that surpass original factory standards. For our Series builds, we include our signature disc brake conversion, elevating both safety and driving confidence.
From there, we move on to the suspension. Here, custom components are fitted, tailored to your driving style and desires—ensuring every journey feels as good as it looks.
Step 8
Bodywork
With the rolling chassis complete, we move on to the bodywork, where the Land Rover begins to show its new face. Most panels are replaced, and the few we retain are stripped down to bare metal, removing every trace of old paint. Each panel is meticulously painted inside and out, ensuring a flawless finish, even in the hidden corners.
Marks of a life well-traveled are gently removed without filler, keeping lines clean and true. Years of real-world experience guide us in reinforcing known weak points, resulting in perfectly aligned panels, finished in your chosen color—ready to turn heads for decades to come.
Step 9
Electrics
During the design process, every client wish comes into focus, including the electrical side of the build. From lighting to phone chargers, music systems to air conditioning or heating, every detail can be tailored to your lifestyle.
Each build features a custom-made wiring harness, designed to enhance both safety and modern functionality. These systems are seamlessly integrated into the vehicle with precision and care, ensuring your Land Rover feels as refined as it is rugged.
Step 10
Interior
Once the exterior captures the classic Land Rover spirit, we turn inward to craft the interior. Every choice you made during the design process, from materials and colors to patterns, is meticulously brought to life. The result is a perfectly balanced, harmonious space where form meets function.
The interior welcomes the traveller with comfort and style, reflecting the vehicle’s exterior beauty. Throughout the build, this dynamic journey shapes your Land Rover into the ideal companion, whether for family, adventure, or business, crafted with thoughtful details like leather and stitching tailored to your lifestyle.
Step 11
Finishing & Testing
As your build nears completion, we focus on the final details that bring your Land Rover to life, carefully fitting badges and finishing touches that celebrate its unique identity.
Next, your vehicle enters an intensive testing phase lasting a couple of weeks. Over 500 kilometres of rigorous road trials put every system through its paces, driven and inspected by our skilled team. This thorough process ensures your Land Rover performs flawlessly, delivering the reliability and excellence you expect before it’s handed over to you.
Step 12
Handover & Delivery
The handover of your Land Rover is a moment we cherish, a celebration of craftsmanship and your vision brought to life. Whether you join us for a personal handover experience or prefer a quiet, private reveal, we ensure the occasion is memorable and special.
For those unable to visit in person, we handle secure, worldwide delivery with the same care and attention we put into building your vehicle. No matter where you are, your Land Rover will arrive safely, ready to embark on its next adventure with you.
